Do you feel lost in Vienna despite having lived here a long time? Have you been discriminated against because you don’t speak German? Do you miss „home“ and have a hard time finding people who understand?
We would like to offer you an opportunity to connect with other women in a similar situation and find a like-minded community. We invite you to try something new and take part in our support group.
What does a support group entail?
- no predetermined agenda – participants chose topics
- safe space atmosphere – no judging of other group participants
- personal development opportunity
- experience connectedness, solidarity – an opportunity to let go of burdens
Support groups provide social support, they provide a social network, and they can reduce stigma, isolation or feelings of alienation among members.
The group will be facilitated by Mag. Ana Bernasconi, an expat herself, and Susanna Markowitsch – both are licensed psychotherapists. We look forward to seeing you there!
